Seeking a pediatric and orthopedic Physical Therapist. Primary functions are to provide applicable physical therapy for patients with various diagnoses. Major duties include: patient evaluation, patient treatment, documentation requirements, maintains expected productivity levels (including special assignments). The primary function is patient care, unless otherwise specified. Therapists completing a pediatric rotation work under the supervision of a CCS therapist if not CCS paneled.
Experience as a Physical Therapist will determine the level.
California Physical Therapy License and current CPR card.
CCS Paneling if working with patients 0-21 years in outpatient CCS clinic.
Must work under the supervision of a CCS therapist if not CCS paneled, when working with patients 0-21
Demonstrates knowledge of etiology, course, prognosis, and manifestations of a wide variety of disease processes.
Demonstrates ability to establish a clinical impression and patient problem list for patients with a wide variety of disease processes with appropriate indications/contraindications for treatment.
Demonstrates ability to establish an appropriate treatment plan, select appropriate treatment techniques, assess the results based upon synthesis of all available information, and the patients' functional goals, with changes in the plan and timely discharge as indicated.
